COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Export Development Board (EDB) has announced plans to secure export earnings amounting to 18 billion US dollars in 2025. EDB Chairman Mangala Wijesinghe stated that within the first eight months of this year alone, export earnings had already surpassed 11 billion US dollars. He further noted that this reflects a 6.61% increase compared to the same period last year, underscoring a steady growth trajectory in the country’s export sector.
